Woods Syllabus II 

Overview- 
DESCRIPTION: Students enrolled in this course will develop a comprehensive working knowledge of the processes used in the area of wood working. Topics include wood identification, grading, purchasing, processing, and finishing. This course also provides the students with safety and skills on woodworking machines and equipment and the processes. 
Grading and attendance- 
Students will be required to design, and complete several projects throughout the semester. Students will be graded on quality of work as well as participation through the semester. Classroom attendance and participation will also be factored into the grading process. Projects will be of the more advanced nature in this class. 

Classroom rules- 

Students will be expected to follow all safety rules at all times. Failure to do so can lead to removal from class.
