What is the Title One Program?
Title One is a federally funded program designed to give supplemental help in reading and/or math based upon the recommendation of classroom teacher and/or performance on standardized tests or formal assessments. It involves individual and/or small group help centered around students needs. We feel that the opportunity for additional help will increase the child's growth in reading and math.
Our program services students in grades K through 6. We meet five days a week, Monday through Friday.
A partnership between parents, students, and staff is an important part of the Title One program. Some ways to be involved are being active in the Title One Parent Advisory Committee, attending Open House, conferences, Title One Family Fun Day, and/or volunteering in the Title One classroom.
